Unhappy 95 jetta check engine light codes

my check engine light comes on and off in about a 10 - 20 second time span, then goes off. ive taken it several times to have it looked at, but it wont stay on long enough for the cpu to get the codes. The memory isnt holding any codes either. the car looses acceleration when the light is on. ive replaced all ignition parts including distributor, cap, rotor, plugs, and wires. Someone said it could be feul pressure, or o2 sensor, but i dont know. Can someone please help with this prob. thnx

check engine light

I have the same problem with mine. Loss of power, seems to only come on after car warmed up. Mech caught codes as "cam out of position". Suggested timing belt might be stretched. Replaced belt and seals. Seemed to be cured for several days...but now back, though not as bad.
