Hi, I'm considering buying a used 1995 Chevy S-10 truck. The owner died two years ago and the truck has only been started a couple of times since then. It looks in good shape but are there problems I should be looking for in a truck that hasn't moved in two years ? It has low mileage and seems to be a good deal.
Thanks in advance for any input. |

Re: Buying used that hasn't been driven for 1 year
The first thing that came to mind was flatspots that can occur when a vehicle that is parked for long period of time without driving it and it will produce a noticeable thump each time the tire flat make contact with the road surface.
Besides that, if you like the test drive simply take it for an independent mechanical inspection to secure your investment. http://www.usedcartips.org/
