cam sensor

where is the cam sensor on a 2000 chevy metro 4 cyl. ?

On the driver's side end of the cam, where the distributor would be if there was one. On the top left corner of the engine, closest bit to the battery, there is a small aluminum housing with a connector going to it, that connector is going to the cam sensor. That's also where the main computer and sensor ground is, on that same housing.
