4T65E Trans whining after freeway run
made a loud whining noise, fluid level real high, past the bend in the dipstick. Color of the fluid looked good. The next day all is ok...did not drive on the freeway just back roads.

Re: 4T65E Trans whining after freeway run
I would at least change the fluid and filter, most GM pan gaskets fo about 2002-2003 up are reusable, The washers shouldn't be a problem, the whining could be from the pwm solenoid going to full line pressure or the fluid aerated.
