327 with 350 casting numbers

i have a question has anyone ever heard of a 327 with 350 casting numbers? It's out of a 1968 or 1969 camaro im not sure of anything else about it i know for a fact that it is a 327 im just not sure why it has 350 casting numbers if anyone knows any more can some one please help thanks tim
