Aoshima Aventador

Seems like Facebook is where to get the information currently.

Simplified kit, much like Fujimi's, but actual working doors, opening engine cover, 2800 yen, export only (US retail will still be rather ridiculous). 4200 yen will get you the version w/full engine.

Re: Aoshima Aventador

Thanks for the link.
Aventador PE set will be available from Aoshima for 1890 yen, so the total will be 4200+1890=6090 yen. At 30% off discount, that'll be 4263 yen, which seems reasonable by today's standard. One thing is that the model in the CAD screen shots seems too detailed to be a simplified version. Aoshima's "detailed engine" doesn't necessarily mean the level of detail like Revell's Diablo VT kit, so the one in the CAD drawing could be the 4200 yen version.

In addition to the new Lambo, I've got to have 2012 R35 GT-R w/engine, and K-On London Taxi.

Re: Aoshima Aventador

Thanks for sharing Bob. Judging from the digital, apart from actual workable doors and engine hood it has better head lights, better tail lights, better tyres, better interior, better fuel cap, better pretty much everything... Now what can I do to my 2 fujimi kits...

Re: Aoshima Aventador

Nice one!
I had my eye on the Fujimi kit but I don't like to make a decision about doors being open or closed and such things. I rather have that moving.
Nice to see there will be a version that lives up to my expectation
Will have a look at HLJ preorder :P

I haven't built a road car in so long, but I love this car, and will definitely have to get this kit some way or another, just a beast in flat black

Re: Aoshima Aventador

Photos of a pre-production test shot have been released.

I still can't see the engine block, but the level of detail seems more than adequate, I suppose.

Re: Aoshima Aventador

Oh yeah, that'll definitely be on my to buy list! I've built of few Aoshima kits lately for Scale Auto reviews and have been very impressed with the quality. Only problem is no local hobby shops carry them so I'll have to buy on-line, which really isn't a problem.

Re: Aoshima Aventador

I think i might opt for the aoshima also. Never understood why different companies make the same kit and not focus on something different. Thanks for finding the sneak pics hiro.

Hey hiro a few pics to the right on that link you gave theres a pic of all the aoshima products. On the bottom left are four sets of wheels. Are these also being released? If so im happy to see the LMs again.
