well normally FI will mean automatic cancellation of the warranty......although i heard that some honda dealerships will not void it on certain kits if they are installed by themselves

yeah your pretty much voiding all of your warranty with forced induction... you might still be able to get suspension warranty LoL as long as you dont alter that. But pretty much any problem can be attributed to the forced induction...

you can always do what most people do... just switch out the turbo/nos, or what have you and put your stock internals back in when you go for a checkup..

you have to be joking that is like 2000$ of labor and another 2000$ to put them back....you might as well get a new engine...

one this is that they will be able to tell you had forced induction....there might be a super slim chance that the mecanic is stupid enough and won't be able to tell...but you would not want that guy to work on your car anyway.....the rule of thumb is you get forced induction you kiss your warranty good bye...the only excepion is when you get certain upgrades aproved by your dealeship....like a TRD hi-perf part in a toyota that is the only way you can keep your warranty.....

You would prolly be ok. They wont check for anything they don't have to. ESPECIALLY if your car is under warranty still. Cuz some of that comes out of their/Honda's pocket.

and because of that is honda catches them do warranty repairs to your car that dealership will lose its licence...do ypou think they will take the risk...no

there is a slim chance that they might do the repair but if you go FI chances are againt you....you have a new car...ask yourself this question can i afford to fix it miself if anything goes wrong...the decision is up to you

Honda doesn't do the warranty repair work. They go with outside companies for "Insurance" not Warranty. It's cheaper for them that way, and you have to pay a deductable for warranty service. Usually $100.00. They wont lose any license if they slack off.

i'm sorry but i think is very bad advice that you are giving.....the truth is any form of Fi will void the warranty...only in very rare casel it will not...one of those cases is with dealership aproved upgrades...and trust me if your Fi damages the engine they will be able to tell

i would not despair if i would be you as i said....in rare ocasions the dealerships will aprove some mods if installed by them....probably part of honda trying to atract the entusiast market....just go to your local dealerships and ask them.....one of the parts that they aproved was a supercharger(jackson i belive but i'm not sure)...but as i said just go and ask them...that way you'll know for sure...

unfortunatelly the only mod that they are forced by law not to void warranty if you use an aftermarket filter(unless they provide filters free of charge)...so you can see you are at the dealership's mercy...and only stuff aproved by them goes....

yes you can bring them in court and try to prove that they refused to repai your car but in that case you have to prove the malfunction was not your fault....and its a pain to go that way....

i know in my case i talked all the time with the guys at the dealership(which have proven quite helpfull) but they are very carefull to cover their a@#....sometimes even on minor mods their official policy is that if they trace any malfunction to your mod....that part of the engine or car will automatiocally lose warranty

sorry to be such a party pooper...but i know sometimes how important the waranty can be...and unless you are so rich that you can afford to repair your car anytime you want losing the warranty can be a pain....i know that without it i woull've been out of quite a few money
