bolt on's

Well i finally got a 1990 CRX Si shell, and I'm planing on dropping a B16A into it. I was wanting to know what is the best brand for an intake and exhaust? The usual answer is; Skunk2 intake and DC sport 4:1 racing headers.. but I wanted to seek out and see if there is cheaper/more cost effective way to add little HP/Torque my b16. I was also wanting to add Unorthadox pullies or underdrive pullies, was also wonder what the difference was with those, Unorthadox vs. Underdrive. What could you all recondment for a exhaust size? I'll be running n/a probly no bottle with little head and piston work done. Also I needed to know tips on weight reduction, like; is a carbon fiber hood, front fenders, and door pannels worth the weight reduction work?

Other than those questions if anyone is interested this is a small list of other things that i wanted to do to the car.....
Energy Pollyurathain bushing
Tein coil overs and shocks
DC Front and Rear Strut tower supports
Sparco Racing seats and harnesses
Lightweight Koing 15"
Short shifter..

well thats about it... please, anyone and everone throw out your ideas... i'm still a little new to the import scene and i could use all the help i could get :flash: :flash: :flash:

Ok this is a good set up and its cheapest way. Go with skunk2 manifold, ctr cams, ctr pistons, JDM dc sport header, intake doesn't matter what brand.

About your suspension set up. Thats almost similar wat im plannin to do.

I'm gonna save up to get TEIN RA along with Energy suspension bushing kit.

One thing to keep in mind when swapping out your OEM bushings with the poly is the poly will turn cement hard when its cold. You will hear & feel it.

Intake
Header
High-flow cat
Cat-back exhaust
Fuel system
Ignition system
Head work & larger or ported/polished throttle body
Cams
The list could go on for ever . . .

The pulleys wont do much

Unorthadox is an underdrive pulley

Stay away from the hinged style strut tower braces. Neuspeed makes a great solid unit.

HAHAHAHA

I had a feeling that would spill over into another thread.

I wonder if those electric turbo's are Swedish, because they're known to give you 25hp also.

How do they actually work? Arent they just turbines that you attatch to your intake pipe that force alot more air into your intake? I heard of a few people blowing motors with those. They're pretty cheap tho like 200-300 on ebay. Im not sure but I dont' think they spool up like a supercharger or wine like a turbo and sorry but no blow off sound...just cheap crap.
