Dino 246GT Latter type (Fujimi Enthusiast 1/24)

Hi again,
Now I have some spare time and I am really having fun restoring my old models (also making new project).
This one was made about 12 years ago, totally out of box (just the wipers are from Fujimi's after market).
Of course this is one of my favorites, but next time I'll add some mods on this kit such as widening the wheel fender arches, low-downing its tail which I found a slight difference on Fujimi's body (I have 2 more of this kit in my stock).

Ah, I didn't really restore it... I have just re-attached one exhaust pipe and wiped dusts, that's it. Some aluminum foils are losing their gross, but I didn't have guts to replace... I'll enjoy them as a taste of getting old.

I hope you enjoy, and see you soon...

wow, another great work from you.

the foil that you used, was it bare metal foil (BMF) or you just glued-on some regular aluminum foil?

Thank you for checking every time! I found your works are eye-catching!

For the foil, that was "Modeler's Metalook". I think you already know, it is similar to BMF. I think I have got to overcoat the clear on it.

You seem like "Mitsubishi freak", aren't you? My first car of my life was Pajero V6 3000 short wheel-base (1990 JX...? I remember) which my father sold recently. That was good.

Thank you for your comment every time, and welcome back into modeling!!
When I came back into modeling after 7 years of blank, I had hard time re-collecting tools, paints, that was also fun. Especially paints, I could hardly find lacquer paints in bottles in Australia, which I could easily buy in Japan (Now I am using tin spray colors put into cups, or buy them from net-shopping).
I'm looking forward to your next project!!

I see. Thanks to the appreciation on my works too.

Yes I am a certified Mitsubishi freak and I can say I have Tommi Makinen and his rallying adventures with the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo as the start of it True, these Pajeros are real good. We have a LWB 2002 Pajero 2800 (chassis V46) that's been through a lot and running strong, aside from the usual wear and tear.
