97 pontiac gp low side port for a/c?

yes, how do i distinguish which is the low port on my a/c? the caps are black ?

They are different sizes. Blue is low and red is high.

Low side is on the bigger pipe- but has the smaller diameter port

If you're using the quick charge hose sold in most autoparts stores, it will fit only on the low pressure side. If you have the set of manometers designed for both low and high, they will fit only on the respective side. Don't worry about it. if it doesn't fits easily, don't force it.

I'm just curious, are you going to recharge the system? If so, I would stay away from those cans that contain leak sealer, in the long run it can cause more problems.

If you can't find the leak, you can get the freon that has the dye to find the leaks in the AC system. That is ok to use.
