Tips to remove choke pulloff
I'm trying to remove a choke pulloff from what appears to be a mounting bracket. I can't seem to get it off though. Any advice
Thanks Old ![]() ![]() New

Re: Tips to remove choke pulloff
The bracket slides on and then those two tabs are crimped. You have to spread them and then it should slide off... although some were spot welded as well. If that's the case, just get one with the whole bracket.

Here... these two tabs. Spread them apart and it should slide off.

Re: Tips to remove choke pulloff
Perfect. I was looking for a bracket with no luck so far. Finding the choke pulloff was a pain. I'll still look just in case I mess up the old one trying to open the tabs

No worries. Carbed cars are my bag, baby.
