I'm seriously looking at purchasing a 2004 Camry XLE with 4 cyl engine. I thought I had read somewhere about the throttle body on the 04 and 05's having a serious defect. This car has 98K on the ticker, and the owner and CarFax have no records of issues. Am I just remembering incorrectly (very possible), or should I be wary of this engine.
I currently have a 2000 Camry that, other than doing the manual cleaning and Seaform treatment to the throttle body for a sticking situation, it runs great. I've done a search and didn't find any hits. Thanks in advance for your responses... Mike |

Re: Throttle body issues - 2004 Camry
I drive 04 Camry LE. No problems with Throttle Body for the first 100000 miles.
