Exclamation 2003 Seville SLS Bounce

Gang, I have a 2003 SLS with 90K miles that seems to have an excessive bounce from the right rear. I have just noticed this as it has been riding fine and has seemed to come on suddenly. When I first start it in the morning I do hear the air compressor come on for the ELC but I am assuming I have shock absorbers on the rear as well? Are they special shock or can I just get a decent set of Monroe's and put them on?

Please advise! Thanks!

Re: 2003 Seville SLS Bounce

You have a coil springs and air shocks in the rear. I would think that Monroe makes a replacement air shock for your car. You may also check OEM, sometimes they are close in price to the aftermarket shocks, sometimes not close at all.

The ELC compressor supplies air to the shocks.
