99 Seville SLS - Thinking About Buying?

99 SLS with 65k miles. Two owner car and is well maintained by the second owner. Frequent oil changes and transmission has been serviced. Runs and drives very nice. Body is in very good condition. Standard factory features with no factory options. Calif. car. I can buy for $7,800.

Is this a good price and are there any major problem areas for this year and model to be aware of?

Thanks !

STS Purchase

I can tell you that I bought a 97 Seville a couple months ago and am generally happy with it. It had 90K on it, and I paid a bit less that you, but I recommend buying the machine if you want a car with a great ride, good power, and relatively good mileage.

You can see all sorts of problems on this forum. That scared me at first, doesn't mean yours will have the same problems. I have changed the plugs, and had the antifreeze changed, that's all. Not too bad. Yet, repairs can be expensive, especially if you go to the dealer.

If you like this type of car, I recommend you go for it.

That sounds like a decent price for a great car! I know you'll love your SLS! I have a 2000 STS, and love it!
