Re: Car Diagnostic Tools

Not quite sure what do you mean either, but if you mean a place to get decent diagnostic equipment, I'd personally recommend http://auto-testers.com/ , they 've got really good and inexpensive devices, I've got a few of them in my automotive garage (EDIA5, TCR3, ZCR-3) You could always google other retailers, there is an expanding market for diagnostic tools.

Re: Car Diagnostic Tools

Theres plenty of high end diagnostic tools available. Snap-On, NexiQ, OTC. Google is your friend. Be prepared to spend some $.

Re: Car Diagnostic Tools

I bought most of what I have from the tool trucks that come around. Expensive sometimes but the payment plan is great. Buy the high-end when you have to use it every day and lesser quality when not used as much.

Re: Car Diagnostic Tools

I would think that garage standard tools would take up a good sized room.

Re: Car Diagnostic Tools

From personal experience i found a cheap diagnostic tool which ive used for the past couple of years. Its good on all makes and didnt cost me that much. I dont know how much it would be now but i got a laptop based one for like 800 quid.

Got it from a local company i saw an advert in cat magazine. I still talk to them as well. They are called Tecnodiagnostics.

But if you want a cheap cheap one you can always get stuff from china. Ive had loads of chinese stuff for under 200 quid but always breaks.

Hope this helps

Re: Car Diagnostic Tools

If you have actually been included in a break down then you will know the worth of the car diagnostic equipment. These are intended to help you get out of a confusing situation. When we go to the operating school we are told that we actually have to enhance our knowledge of vehicles before we can become successful drivers.
