Power door locks and keyless entry don't work. The keyless entry only locks the drivers side doors. Is there some kind of body control module or something simalar? If so need to find where it is located. I got a haynes book and can't find it in the electrical section.

what body style do you have ? the problem is the keyless entry will only lock the drivers door ? all other door fuctions are inop ?

first start by checking all fuses with a meter. relays are used to do this operation and possible BCM. could be bad wirings and or actutators.

if this occured suddenly a blown fuse which would indicate a bad wire shorting. this is difficult.

the haynes book is incomplete. you may have to subscibe to a internet repair like alldata.

It is an early 1999 K3500 ls crew cab. The key less entry will unlock both front doors and drivers side rear door, but will only lock both drivers side doors. the switch on the inside master control panel on drivers door will do nothing as far as the electric locks go but the window switch works fine for all windows.
