I'm the owner of a 99 Jimmy, whose heater is on maximum heat. A common problem judging by the number of Jimmys/Blazers driving around in winter with their windows open!
As a temporary relief from the heat, I've found if you activate the "re-circulate" mode button, it will stop the flow of hot air!?! Note: In order for the "re-circulate" mode to come on, you must have the air flow directed to either your feet, vent or vent/feet. A few minutes of driving with this switched on in a Canadian Winter, you'll be glad to switch it off occasionally! Good luck.... Roger |
