2008 Sierra Traction Control´/ ABS Light

I have a sierra 2008 Crew Cab ,5.3l , Z71. Yesterday I was driving in snow (wet snow and slush ) both light came on ( Traction Control and ABS )
Any suggestion what the problem might be.

Need to see what codes(s) are stored. You could do a visual inspection of the speed sensor harnesses and check for damage.

On my OBDII it reads : No DTCs codes presently stored in the vehicle ECU.

Are you sure the scanner you are using is able to read ABS codes? Alot of code readers cannot read ABS codes. If the ABS and TRAC lights came on, there should be a code stored.

I am using a scanner made by TOPTAK Model OT-680.

I think that scanner will only read emissions related codes. Unless there is a menu on it specifically for ABS, you'll need to have a shop with the correct scanner check for ABS codes.
