seafoam

Taurus had en engine Pinging on any incline. I added seafoam to the gas.
It eliminated the Ping entirely. Also engine response has significantly improved, i am happy to say.

Re: seafoam

A lot of people dismiss fuel additives as " snake oil" but iv'e found them very useful I add Chevron Techron to my vehicles regularly, I had a 2000 Olds Intrigue with 180,000 mile on the original fuel pump.

Re: seafoam

i was skeptical of the additive myself. i asked a friend who is a certified mechanic if i should replace my plugs/wires. i told him i had 60000 miles. he suggested the product. having used it, the difference was shortly evident and striking.
i guess it did as he said. cleaned the deposits etc. so the engine responded and ran better.
good luck, jamesslcx. thanks for the reply.
