1995 Buick LeSabre - Heat
I am curious as to how hot the vent temperature should be after driving the car for about a half hour on the road. The other day, I measured it at about 112 degrees. I can't recall for sure but I thought that in previous years it ran hotter.
Thank you in advance! |

Re: 1995 Buick LeSabre - Heat
Is the engine getting up to temp? Should be getting to 190d.
Just had an issue with my car that while driving the motor would not go past 140d. I replaced the thermostat with an OEM 195d and it runs like it should (bounces between 190-200d). Really helped out with the lack of heat I was getting. |

Re: 1995 Buick LeSabre - Heat
Sorry, but I have to disagree.....yes, the coolant in the engine should cycle between 190-200F with a good thermostat....however, with a temp probe in the register on vent, heat coming out with be 145-155F on max heat....

Can't make hot vent air without a properly warmed up coolant system. |
