jetbike

Hi everyone,

today i made some pictures of the Modells in my display and found some i want to share with you.
Last year i took part in a little modelling competition in an other forum.
Everyone there (except me) want to build tanks and jets and stuff like that. So i thought i do it like them...
A theme bike. (Watched to much Orange County Choppers i guess )
Base was an old Honda CBR XX from Tamiya. The back is a Mig 29 from Revell 1:144 (fits perfect!!)
I wanted a real big whell and found absolutly nothing. So i decidet to take them from a Die cast modell from New Ray. Im not realy happy with them but what should i doo
addet some details like a HUD, Remove Before Flight Tags and some little things.
when i was already done i had an accident, my cutter was falling out of my hand, direct on the bike
Paint was f.... up
So i made the Sharkmouth decals myself to cover this sh...
Before the mouth it was looking much better but it was my first try and im sure that it was not my last.
Its not that perfect like most of the others shown here but i like it.
Hope you too

Re: jetbike

That is a very cool idea! now if only it were done with a Japanese fighter, it would only be that much better.

Re: jetbike

Even better than any OCC theme bike i´ve seen yet.
Very funny idea and very well executed. Makes me want to have one in 1:1
