V6 Failure of Lower Intake Manifold Gaskets
I'm trying to find out which Chev/Buick V6 engines don't have this gasket problem and starting in what year.
Does anyone have this info or can steer me to a site that does? |

3.1, 3.4 from about 96 to end of the run, 3.8 from about 98 to 2005.

I'm surprised GM didn't eventually redesign the gaskets to fix the problem. |

They did several times but it seems some updates still were ineffective. On the 3.8 the aluminum frame gaskets by Fel Pro did the job.
