Combining the DSM forums.

I remember talk about this a while back about a DSM forum. I think there should be something like this for the people that own the Eclipse, Talon, and Laser. I think that the forums should stay as they are except they all link to the same forum.

I think this would be a good idea rather than just tell them to go post in the Eclipse forums. I am sure this can be done though I have very little PHP experience.

Come on Igor, I know you can see this.

What do you think, can this be done? Pretty much all the DSM guys want this.

So what do you do with the "DSM" guys who believe that the 3000GT/Stealth should be included? Do you put in a thread for Summit/Mirage DSMs? How about Galants? Do you continue the DSM forum beyond the actual years of DSM's existence to include the Avenger/Sebring/Stratus?

Should an AutoAlliance forum be added to cater to the MX6/Probe crowd?

Just some thoughts.

I knew that would get your attention.

You do have a point, but then again that was the point of the thread. I wanted to see what the feasibility of doing this would be. The Talon/Eclipse/Laser guys just wanted an answer, and here we have it.

Thanks

For what its worth, I'd rather not have the 3KGT lumped in with its younger brothers. Although putting the 3KGT with the Stealth wouldn't be out of line.

I dont see why you wouldn't have the t/e/l grouped together. When you click on 'Talon" it takes you to the same spot as you would go when you clicked on 'Eclipse'. It makes sense to me since they are the exact same cars

What about all the people outside the US (like me) that may drive something with the same name/model, but have NFi what DSm is until reading this thread and would never be able to find their forums again? My example is the Mitsubishi Mirage (3 door basic Mitsu hatch, 1.5l SOHC engine etc.) which is called a Lancer to the best of my knowledge in the States. More thoughts.

But if you drove a DSM, you would know what it meant

And since he is from the other side of the world where DSM was produced - how would he? Not everyone knows every acromym for every car built around the world.

"DSM cars are assembled in Normal, Illinois. The '94-and-up Mitsubishi Galant is also assembled at the DSM plant in IL"

It says DSM on the engine plate on the firewall, not to metion every bodypanel on the car

But what I'm saying is, when you click on the "eclipse" link it takes you to the same board as when you click on the "talon" link. does that make sense?

There is the same conversations going on in both boards
