How far would you go by car?

Hey,

in a few weeks I will begin my one year abroad. Unfortunately my new home is about 300 miles away from my home town. That is why I would like to know whether you would go this by car or travel by train or by flight. What is the maximum distance you would by car? As seen on this infograph would go hundrets of miles... You?

Re: How far would you go by car?

Seeing as how the last time I flew on a commercial airliner, the plane caught fire and had to make an emergency landing, I'll drive pretty far.

Cars can catch fire too

Of course they don't fall thousands of feet into the ground when they do.

Driving 300 miles is no big deal, its an easy days travel.

But it really depends if you want to lose that day or not, and how much you enjoy driving.

Moppie:

Been there and done that too. Had a 37 Dodge that liked to backfire through the carb and catch fire. Got pretty adept at smothering the fire with an old sweatshirt.

Re: How far would you go by car?

Travel by car is the best option for traveling we can go from one city to another city by car if we have a lot of time and if there are no any issues with the car.....

Re: How far would you go by car?

I would like to suggest the train option because of the fast speed than the car and even low cost as compare to the plain and car and without much delay like traffic as in the car traveling. So I think the train is the best option among those three while considering speedy, cheap and safe.

Re: How far would you go by car?

Hi

That is a complex question with no simple answer. It depends on where you live in the U.S. as to how much you drive and how fast you go.

Thanks
