Hamann Ferrari California open top
Revell kit with Hobby Design transkit.

The front splitter in the HD kits was reworked to fit and achieve the correct shape, the HD interpretation is way off. I did away with the rear seats and scratch built the luggage rack complete with official Ferrari holdalls

Very impressed with Revell's kit, the fitment of parts is spot on apart from the usual minor niggles with fitting the chassis to body.

This is very nice. It really stands out. The stitching and luggage are great. These are some unique details that most people don't include on their Ferrari builds. Good stuff.

A1 job! My only niggle is that the black panel lines on the white body are a little too stark and give it a slightly cartoonish look.

Beautiful otherwise though!

Interior is lovely with your attention to the details. Is there any detail under the hood too? It appears not be fitted flush.

I ended up using a grey Gundam marker on this which I never use as I don't like the look of them. It was my only option as I failed to deepen the panel lines prior to paint suitable to run a thin wash through.

Small fitment issue I have yet to iron out. Engine was left box stock to speed up build.
