1999 Alero 3.4

I was driving my 1999 olds Alero 3.4 to work this morning, I was driving at 75 mph on the highway, and once I got off the highway I came to a traffic light and had to make a hard stop. When the light turned green I had no power and could only get to 5 mph, I turned the vehicle off and back on at the next light and was able to get up to 40 mph with a lot of stuttering. I pulled over and turned it off for three minutes and then back on. It ran fine for 15 minutes. That’s when I arrived at work. Any ideas? That was yesteray morning and it did the same exact thing today at the same exact location. Please help.

Either a misfire or sounds like an exhaust blockage(cat?).....

Re: 1999 Alero 3.4

Could also be a fuel pressure issue.
