Yeah, the brand of airbrush and compressor don't matter, they will work fine no matter who makes the one or the other.
I use an Iwata compressor with an Aztek airbrush without any problems.

You can get a decent compressor for around $100 but it totally depends on what you want.
You can even get a compressor at Walmart and it would do the job just fine.

I have a Paasche D500. its great, its only as loud as my air-conditioner so i can paint all night. its maintainance free as well so no oiling. it cost $125. 3-amp 1/10 HP and buts out up to 65PSI. my only complaint is there is no on/off switch. you have to unplug it but they make a footswitch that turns it off and on.

I suggest you get the walmart one for 99 bucks, is the campbell 2gal air compressor. Is a little loud but so is most 100 dollar compressor. But the fact i use it is because it is not just an aircompressor for your airbrush but you can use it for other use around the house if you get the right attachment.
And if you not a serious airbrusher that would be a good deal.

I would suggest also getting a pressure regulator.
It will help with doing detailing work and weathering. |
