whats even better than using a 4 channel amp is using (2) 2 channel amps. you can tune the frequency a bit better than you could with a 4 channel amp. because it is a different stage for the front and back.

2 2-channel amps would be more expensive as well. I got the RF 400.4 and can set the frequencies for the fronts and backs seperately right on the amp with the built in crossovers.

u want control????

Get a big six channel and a deck with at least 4 rca outputs.
I have a 6 channel Zapco amp and a Pioneer deck with 3 sets of rca's one for each channel on the amplifier. My best setup so far

I have a head unit with 3 sets of preouts and two amps, a 400.4 and the other, 1000.1 for my subs. Sounds pretty good..

Last year I also had a similar setup....

It consisted of a Power800a2 pushing 3 jl audio 12w6's and a 400a4 doing my rockford fanatic component sets front and rear of my G. But lets just say I will never buy Rockford again after hearing Zapco and Image Dynamics :sun:

Heh, the name "Zapco" sounds kind of cheap, that's why I always stayed away from them
Not saying they are cheap, they just have a weird name

Actually, Zapcos are very good amps. A guy that owns one of the shops around here would use only JL and Zapco in his car.
