1995 4Runner 3VZE Fast Idle

Hello everyone,
I am new this forum, but not to the 2nd generation 4 Runners with 3VZE. So far I have been sucessful at every repair. Now I am stumped and so is my "Go To Guy" mechanic. The idle is suddenly too fast, at around 1500 rpm. Tests, adjustements and troubleshooting have been completed according to Toyota Service Manual.
The conclusion at this point is..Throttle Body replacement $$$700.00 $$$
Any feed back or sugestions??

OK Toyota 4Runner Lovers....I solved the "Mysterious Fast Idle Problem" on the 3VZE 1995. IF...your baby begins to idle fast and irregular, after all tests and no remedy solves the problem...here is the solution.
Remove the throttle body. Check to see if the coolant passage in the bottom of the throttle body is clean, clear and has a fully unobstructed flow from one end to the other. Compressed air should flow freely through. If not....there is an obstruction that must be removed. Once the flow is fine, clean the remaining passages, orafices and throat with a high quality cleaner and compressed air meticulously until is shines.
Install a new gasket, and A NEW O RING on the idle adjustment screw to stop air from bypassing and to keep the screw from easily turning and changing the idle. Reinstall the throttle body, connect the coolant hoses at the bottom, all vacume lines, cables and the TPS connector.
Start the engine, allow it warm to operating temperature. Add lost coolant. You now will be able to adjust the idle at the adjustment screw to 800 RPM. Your engine will run smooth and the tach will show a nice...steady reading. The world will be a wonderful place and you will live happily everafter.
