Hey Oscar !!!!!
Oscar,
I told a friend of mine that I would change his plugs tomorrow on his 2002 Towncar. I'm thinking that it is similar to my 2000 Expedition, in that you have to pull the fuel rail to undo and lift the coils. I looked @ his this afternoon, and there appears to only be two little bitty nuts, one @ each end of the fuel rail, holding it down on the injectors. Isn't there an "O" ring on each injector, that seals into the molded cup hanging down from the rail ? Need your insight before I muck up a buddies car........... Mike in Colorado ![]() ![]() |

Re: Hey Oscar !!!!!
Hi Mike,
I'm sorry that I didn't see your thread before; I was out of town and with a crappy/limited conectivity. Anyway... I'm glad you did it and glad that the problems with your EATC are gone too. Just for future reference here is a link that should help to anyone else needing to replace the plugs in his 98-02 TC. Click here I appreciate the fact that you wanted to ask me first, It makes me feel flattered .Should you need anything else don't hesitate to contact me via PM or email. Oscar.
