Small review on the Revell Enzo

Not to good at this, but here gose:

The molding is good exept for some pin marks on the body and chassi. Body parts fit good. It will be easier to paint then the Tamiya. Both seem to be same size, so close that you can almost fit the Revell body on the Tamiya chassi and iterior.

The Tamiya chassi has better details then the Revell, better fans and under hood (front) details, but those parts canīt be seen. The rear of the Revell are missing some parts like the fule filler and a small box. But it has some other small details that the Tamiya is missing.

The Revell engine has better details, but needs some work on the valve covers that looks wrong. The Tamiya aircleaner are more detaild with some pipes that the Revell dosenīt have.

The Revell interior is good but the seats looks too ”fat” and the molded in seat belts are not that detaild. But you canīt open the doors so you canīt see the interior that much.

The wheels on the Revell looks a bit stange, but they might look better on the model. The brake are too thin and will take a lot more time to detail the the Tamiya.

One thing that I donīt like with the Tamiya is that you donīt get mesh for all air intakes and outlets, but you do with the Revell. The decal sheets are almost the same exept that you get licens plates witht the Revell and some decals from the Revell come as metal transfers with the Tamiya.

The cars will look almost the same on the shelf if you close the doors on the Tamya, and if you donīt go the close and look at the interior.

So if you must have the opening doors or is realy willing to spent a lot of mony, buy the Tamiya. If not buy the Revell. I donīt think the Tamiya is that much better. Exept for the doors and some small details that will be hard or realy hard to see on the finnished model, but not for that price.

I will add pics as soon as I get my camera later today.

Are there two sets of seats? Or is that front and rear halves?

Itīs not a typo. The mesh in the Tamiya kit is too small to use on all air intaces and outlets, like the ones on the rear window and the ones infront of the doors. The Revell mesh is more then four times bigger, and can be used all over the model.

Tamiya mesh on the left, Revell on the right.

Just to show that the size is the same on the Tamiya and the Revell
