93 SLC with cammed 98 VR6

Hey my baby turns over, has spark, fuel, it wants to start but wont stay on....... the tack doesn't read anything.........

I think the 93 has a distributor and the 98 has coilpacks. so the cam sensor/crank sensor (coil sender unit) may be improper. did you swap everything?
