Italeri 275gtb
Hi everybody,
I come back to present you my new work, on Ferrari 275GTB from Italeri... I built this kit a long time ago but I f... the paint... So I decided to take back and remake this kit, as it's a real nice molded kit from Italeri... this where I started from (after removed the paint) The paint has reacted with the plastic as you can see on the left door... I needed to sand out the remaining paint to get this results, and rescribed the door panel... Now it's quite OK for the next step... The next step was to primer the kit: I really love the bottom of this car Then I started to paint slowly with Tamyia TS17 can...I'm quite satisfied of the results for this first layer, specially from where I started Next step: second layer of paint and then I will work on the inside (even if I made it quite correctly the first time, I did a "racing" version and now will change it to civil version) Hope you enjoy it... Bye |

Re: Italeri 275gtb
On its way to looking good! But, I would have attached the front lower valence and filled the seams on the front and rear valences before painting.

Moreover, when I started to remake this kit, I did not expected to have a good paint results as this one (I make some kit since a long time now but always have some difficulties with tamiya spray cans)... So, I will check if still possible to stick it and filled it, but I think is now too late and fear to make something worst if i try this now.... Anyway, thanks for your remark... Bye |
