MFH Ferrari 275GTB Competizione Speciale

Hi guys, first model finished in more then a year time is really short lately

So kit is basic curbside, nothing special, very nicely cast resin with only one mistake in front of the car, lower part of the nose where those three vents are was to flat and whole front looked to thin, so i cut that part out, fixed it in appropriate angle and filled gaps with miliput.

One more area to take care if you build this kit is rear window frame, it is to small for vacform part so take care.

This car in reality is unique and it is now yellow with number 24, but I like my Ferrari's red or black , so zero Ferrari red and automotive two part clear thinned out a lot with 5-6 coats sanded few times to get depth but not to gain to much of a volume around panels.

Hope you like it.

That's a beautiful build of a rarely seen subject. Congratulations. And I, for one, am glad to see the care you've taken with the 2K clear to get a better in-scale finish with it than we often see.

Where did you come from?

She looks really gorgeous, I must say. Sleek and shiny - beautiful, in other words.

There's nothing wrong with yellow Ferraris, though

Nice build!

Strange looking in 1/24 scale. It rather looks like someone tried to copy a 275 or make a kit car and got all the proportions wrong.

Have yet to see the real giallo #24 in person...it's on my bucket list.

I agree, when it was bare resin, I couldn't find any flaws to it except one mentioned, but finished it looks...well you said, strange, wheels look to big, wheel base to short, windows to low...maybe Hiro should have called it "special" special

Nice looking car. I have the model that this was based on by Climax. Hiro did modify the lower nose and I think they used larger wheels. The wheels should be painted like on the real car. The body in the kit is perfect otherwise. The real car has not been red for many years.
