1985 Nissan PU Electrical Problems

I just picked up an 85 Nissan PU the other day and have no turn signals, brake or running lights.

The fuses under the drivers compartment are good and there is power to the fuses. What should I be checking next?

Is there another fuse box somewhere? If there is I’m not seeing it.

Try checking to make sure the turn signal switch and the brake light switch are pluged in correctly or they could both be bad. Also check and see if you are getting power to the plugs as well and if not could be a bad part in the wire somewhere or a bad ground.

At just the back of the car, or both ends?

It maybe something simple like rusty earth connection in one of the light clusters.

Thanks for the replies guys, I got it figured out.
The truck had had not been driven for about 7 years, it turned out the problems were simply from lack of use. Some contact cleaner and working the signal and brake switch for a bit brought it all back to life.

Sweet!

7 years is a long time to be sitting!

Wonder what else will not work on it?
