Which Car Should Be My First One?

Hey.

My name is David and I don't know which car I should get.
I got 16 on 7/24 and I'll start with my drivers license in a few weeks.
My dad said the day I get my drivers license, we are buying a car for me.
Because my dad is going to buy the car the price shouldn't be over 20k.
I think about the 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS but I am not sure. Please give me some suggestions. I'd like to have a sedan that I can tune a little (chip-tuning, audio tuning etc.).

Thanks David.

Well, the lancer GTS is a good one. Not sure about the pricing in where you're living, you can try to check out VWs or some good Jap Cars since japanese cars are very easy to modify and they're made to be long lasting(at least more than enough before you get your 2nd car).

If you don't go with the lancer GTS, I would suggest looking at a ford focus because of the cool styling , not to mention , focus was also used by rally car enthusiasts and would make a good tuner car. Ford is a good name these days. The ford focus these days will also offer 59 mpg for under $20,000. Worth looking at.
