Re: Help

Yrs med the wires to a relay that I Assume senses the pressure when the brake is applied. My guess is that the sender is bad but I'm also guessing that if I change if out that the breaks will have to be bled. Anyone care to chime in?

Re: Help

Squerly, test lite or ohm meter should tell the tail. Ohm meter, push peddle and switch works or not. pulling switch- i would bleed the rear master cyl. hope this helps. Bill

Re: Help

I have had that sensor go bad as well. Cannot remember if it needed bleeding after I changed if but probably. Its a cheap part. I bought a spare for the trailer. I think I got them from PAD but auto parts store should have them.

Re: Help

i have had to replace the sensor two times. i now carry a spare with me to the track. $8.00 item from NAPA, i can get the part number if you need it, but it is a very common item and all part stores should have them. it is located near the battery box on the passenger side brake line and can be replaced without bleeding the brakes, if you do it quickly. i have had good results using teflon plumbers tape to insure a good seal.
