1999 Express 1500 Air conditioning problem
1999 Express 1500 Air conditioning problem
I have been currently running the van without air conditioning. the compressor seized up. I am curious why the compressor seized up? When I run the blower motor the air coming out of the vents always seems warmer than the air coming through the windows. When I keep the blower on the air coming out of the vents gets even warmer. Then I shut of the blower off Is there a reason why the air is warmer ? Thanks |

Some of The air fow is going threw the heater core. Air flow threw heater core gives heat. Compressers freze up from several reasons. Improper charge and wrong operating pressure or low on oil or wrong oil or to much oil or even just bad compressor. Is compressor locked up or clutch and front bearing locked up?
