1994 C-1500 wiper problem

Hi All,

I have a problem with the windshield wipers on my 1994 Chevy C-1500. The wipers work as they should and the washer is OK also. The intermittent feature functions as it should. My problem is, in summer temperatures over 70º F., the wipers will give one swipe and stop in their normal position every 20 to 30 seconds. This is a summertime only thing. In winter, they function as they should without the occasional swipe. I realize this problem is a real head-scratcher, but if anyone can give me a clue in where to start looking, I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

Woodster

Circuit board is inside the wiper motor. At least it is on my '98 Sub. Not sure about your '94. 3-4 screws and pull the front cover off. Clean and lube all the moving parts while you're in there.

Re: 1994 C-1500 wiper problem

Thanks for the replies guys. I bought the part needed and before I had a chance to install it, I sold my truck this morning. The new part went with the truck, but I told him about the problem. He will be installing it himself.

Thank again,

Woodster
