Replacing ball joint
Hello, attempting to replace a ball joint on 96 Lumina. I'm following instructions from here: http://www.gpona.com/forums/a-remind...nts-t6246.html . All is done up to the point where the instructions say: "Remove ball joint nut and pin and pry the strut assembly away from the control arm once done remove the 3 bolts that mount the strut assembly to the unibody". I've removed the nut and pin and 3 bolts on top, how in the world do I remove the whole assembly. I can't do it from the bottom as the bolt that's in the control arm is being pressed down by the spring and obviously I can't remove it from the top, since the spring is pushing up on it.
There has to be something that I'm missing. Thanks a lot in advance.
