02 grand cherokee wont start

alternator when out. changed it along with new battery and now it wont start?????

Does it crank and not start, try to start and die or a complete no crank?

Try disconnecting one battery terminal, and hold it against the other side for 20-30 secs. This should reset the computer, if that is your problem.

Of course making sure that all connections (especially the plug-in at the alternator) are secure is a good idea.

Did you disconnect the battery ground when installing the alternator. You may have blown a fuse or fuseable link.
