94 Grand Cherokee wont start

My 94 jeep grand Cherokee turns but it wont start i can hear the fuel pump engaging but i don't see no spark.

What engine? If you checked, and your not getting spark then look at your coil or crank or cam position sensors. Are you getting gas? To check find the " bicycle tire" looking valve on the fuel rail. take off the cap, carefully press the valve down. You should get fuel spraying out. Just becuase you hear the pump, doesn't mean its working. Hope this helps some.

its a 4.0 a few months ago i was driving and it felt like the car shut of (no power) and i have been having problems ever since last month it starter and died after a few seconds then waited about 20 minutes and started with no problems

Do you still have power to the coil. Also, try seeing if you have spark from the coil to the coil wire.
