Car moved 10ft in park when rear-ended!
Hi. My car was backed into the other day and I was told by the driver it moved 10ft (so he asked if it was in neutral). The bumper was bashed in and the taillight broken but I failed to mention it moved 10ft when getting quotes. Is it possible any damage was done to the transmission and if so, if this is a 2001 model with 115,000 miles, is it likely to be a write off? How do they determine a value if this is the case?
