Is old tube of gasket sealant still good?

I intend to replace an oil pan gasket. I have a very old tube of Permatex Foram-A-Gasket #2 Sealant; I suspect this may be more than 15 years old, although I really just don't know for sure; this tube has been opened. I am absolutely sure this is the older of the two products I'm discussing here.

I also have a tube of Permatax Clear RTV Silicone Adhesive Sealant that was purchased in Dec. 2001 but never opened.

Is the newer product, the Clear RTV Silicone Adhesive Sealant, still OK to use or should I throw away both these products and buy a new tube?

I never use a tube of RTV or other sealants if they are more than one year old, and for the most critical-hard-to-get-to areas, I only use a tube of the stuff if its less than 6 months old. For making oil pan gaskets, I would use permatex RTV ultra black. It cures overnight, though i like to give it 24 hours.
