Cool Mercedes SL 63 AMG
Hi,

I just finished this Aoshima kit. It is mainly OOB, except

- wheels from Tamiya SLR
- openings in front and behind the frontwheels, roof, rear wing and skirt covered with Scaleproductions carbon decals (great stuff!!!)
- rings around the air outlets on the dash are from this set : http://www.scaleproduction.de/produc...puffringe.html

(on the photos the top of the windscreen is not fixed to the frame, the problem is solved meanwhile)

Very nice! I like the colors, and the SLR wheels suit it nicely. With the carbon treatment on the roof, I might consider doing the area just above the windshield as well.

I thought about that, but I prefer the white surrounding of the windshield when the hardtop is removed
