2005 arta nsx

Hi guys

Long time reader, minimal poster. I've been doing models for a few years now, and finally, this one is atleast worth posting (i'm too embarassed with my other god awful builts that it'd be a waste of your time to even look at ) and let me tell you, you guys have AMAZING builts, compared to some of the junk i've pumped out....

So here I am, hoping to post something atleast half decent, so that I can possibly get some constructive comments from you guys in order to improve my skills a little.

Thanks for looking and please let me know if you have any pointers! greatly appreciated.

Donīt be so hard with your skills! I donīt know about your previous models, but this one looks like a very good build! I only noticed a messed spot on the white "hood". Other than that I wish my models were all like this one.
Maybe you can make a group post of your "not-decent" models all together. I have time to look at them

For constructive comments about this build:
I only noticed the mess on the white part. If so, you could have just masked/protected the red part, sand down that bubble effect of whatever it is, mask the whole thing except whatīs supposed to be whte and re-spray.
Now that you have the decals placed, if you still want to repair it mask everything except the lower left part of the white (looking at it like in the second pic), sand down the mess to a smooth surface, re-spray carefully, and finish it.
Or you can leave it like that, learn the lesson and enjoy the whole rest of this beautiful build.

It's hard to tell from your pictures but I think the problem is that your paint is way too thick. Did you use Testors spray? The paint signature looks like enamel spray, which if you're not quick, gets laid on really quickly. I also find most of the Testors nozzles to be quite poor. Try a lacquer spray from Tamiya, and do it in light coats. Many light coats > one big heavy coat. Oh and priming is a must, especially with lacquer spray.

A racing car with multi-color body and lots of decals is no easy game for any one, and you've done it very well despide some minor spots. Don't be embarassed by your works please, post them and say something about it, what problems you've got in the progress, what sort of advices you need from people, that's how you participate. Skills get sharpened as time passed by, but you can share the course with us right?
