2000 rodeo wont start
I have a 2000 rodeo LS been sitting for 2 years with a dead battery. I jumped it a few times to let the engine run and to drive it. Parked it 6 months ago and know it wont start. I put new battery and it was on empty so I put 3/4 tank in it. Will only start with starting fluid or if I put raw gas in the air inlet. Also the check engine light is on now. P.S. engine is 6 cly.

Listen for a faint humming sound coming from the fuel tank when you turn the key on. If you don't hear that, you probably have a dead fuel pump.
