|
can i make my lights flash when locking car?
hey guys, i was wondering if there is any way to make my exterior lights flash when locking and unlocking my car. i DO NOT have a factory alarm, but i THINK there was an after market one installed that no longer works. i dont know if that makes a difference, but any help would be awesome. Thanks!
also, its a 97 GTP

there is a webpage that tells you how to do it with a factory alarm for the older gp's. my 2002 flashes with the alarm. you may be out of luck unless you have an aftermarket installed

Most GTP's came factory with keyless entry, so send me your VIN# via PM and I'll check to be sure you have it. If you do, the proceedure to set keyless entry functions would be in your owners manual. The 97 model is a bit different than later models, so if you don't have an owners manual, Bnaylor may be able to help you, as his GTP is a 97 also.

its factory keyless entry, but without an alarm... what confuses me is that there is the little red LED on the dash bezel but it never lights up and i have no panic button on my key fob. so im 99% sure mine has wireless entry but no factory alarm. ill get the vin for you tomorrow
