1997 Chevy Malibu, 136K miles...
This morning, on the way to work, the brake warning light came on and the audible alarm started beeping. I let off of the gas and the light goes off and the alarm stops. While in the parking lot, I make a few "extra" right hand turns, each time the light and alarm come on. As I straighten the car out, they go off. At lunch, I start to test this situation a little closer. Every time I begin to accelerate, the light and alarm come on. As soon as I let off of the gas, they stop. Brake fluid level is fine. Does anyone have a clue? Thanks |

make sure the brake fluid level is at the max mark on the resevoir, sounds to me like the fluid level sensor in the resevoir is causing the lamp to come on and off
