Grand Am GT

I'm wondering if anyone can help me? I have a 2004 Grand Am and yesterday my ABS light came on. I took it into the dealer and was told that I need both the right and left sensors.

Within the past year I had the front bearings replaced, can anyone tell me whether this is a similar problem, and are the sensors for the ABS in the front wheel bearings? Since these are relatively new, if they are all one, I feel the dealer should be replacing these at no charge.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Grand Am GT

I hightly doubt that you need to replace both sensors. They do it to avoid you to have to come back if the other one is dieing...

No, they do not have to replace it freely, the waranty on such repair can be as low as 3 months!

Check your repair invoice, find the waranty on their repair.

Good luck with the stealership.
